End of the module

Over the past term I have completed the ICT module of my foundation degree. I must admit this has been my favourite module of the degree so far as I fell like I have a good skill set in technology and I know how I can translate and use these skills in teaching. I have to complete a 1500 word assignment to accompany the portfolio of work in ICT so wish me luck!

Power Point Part 2

Making the power point was no problem, but presenting the power point presentation to the whole class was what I found difficult, as I often struggle with my confidence when having to speak individually in large groups. I feel I tried my best and realised after it wasn't that bad as I had the support of my peers and positive feedback after.

Power Point Part 1

Making a power point presentation was probably the easiest part of this module as I have been making power point presentations since I was in school and have never stopped using them. They are fun, easy and can be used for conveying any information through pictures, text or video.

Late blog

On the 19th of May I used the app Stop Motion, to create a stop motion animation, I worked in a small group of three and we came up with the an idea to tackle internet safety.
The app was fun and easy to use, I have had experience with stop animation before as aspects from this can be used on the social media app Vine.

Hour of coding

I completed my hour of coding which was an experience I had never had before.
I have inserted an image of my certificate and a video of me completing one of the levels in the coding hour.

Observation

Today as part of my course I was observed by one of my tutors in my actual work place. I had to demonstrate my role and teach a small lesson of my choice with planning. I chose a small intervention group and planned around their individual needs.
